So how do you know if you need Drain Repair?
No-one ever thinks about their drains until there’s a problem: maybe slow draining water or waste water that doesn’t drain away at all. Let’s discuss some of the signs that might suggest you need drain repair.

- Water takes a long time to drain from the sink or exterior drains.
- The sinks in the home or exterior drains are full and won’t empty.
Definitely give us a call straight away! This is almost always due to debris stuck in the pipes and often easily remedied. It could be that tree roots have grown into the pipe. It could be baby wipes are stuck in the pipe. Baby wipes are often flushed down the toilet and as they do not dissolve they cause a blockage. Occasionally, it could be that the pipe has collapsed but this is quite rare.
Strange/strong smell in the garden or home?
Again this could be a blockage but could also be a damaged pipe. Maybe the pipe has a crack in it and the waste is leaking into the ground around the pipe. Often the water will keep flowing but the waste seeps into the ground causing the smell.
Again it could be a collapsed pipe but whatever it is we can fix it and often without digging. We have ways of repairing the pipe from inside so that the water flows freely again and the smell subsides.

Honest and reliable service. Another plumber had quoted 10k for digging up and replacing pipes. Dr Drains came and reviewed the pipes and recommended a root treatment option that was much more affordable. Really appreciate the service!
Prior to undertaking work, Dr Drains explained with respect the issues and the variables in play; they didn't patronize or try to steam roll me; both Josh and Jeremy invested the time to allay my significant concerns on the situation; they minimized disruption to the dig site and damage to my yard when needing to get access to move digger through it / vegetation to access site.
